I'm Jennifer Ovington and I started up Flowersack in 2008 because I wanted to see little
girls looking like little girls again dolled up in ribbons and ruffles. I had
my own beautiful daughter in 2003 and she was my muse, my inspiration, my own ‘model’
to make the ultimate feminine, girly dress that I simply could not find in the
shops.
Knowing that our precious little girls come in all shapes and sizes, I wanted to create a dress that all girls could wear. That is why I say there is no right or wrong way to wear a Flowersack dress. They dress could be down to the ankles or just above the knee. Its classic a-line look will also suit any waistline. Of course the other advantage of Flowersack dresses is the length of time your little one could wear it. I live a fairly frugal life and am very much into helping our environment for next generations as well as not wanting to create any more waste than necessary. By creating a dress for 2 years, i.e. for girls 2 to 4 years, gives all mothers, like me, the chance to give our little ones something that they can and will get a lot of wear out of. This is also, of course, frugal and a sensible way to spend our money! You will notice that every dress is different in my collections. I wanted each dress to be as unique and as special as every little girl in this world is. I believe every dress has its own personality and I hope you will choose the one that you feel will match the personality of your own little girl. (This is a difficult task my customers tell me as each dress is so sweet!)
Why buy from Flowersack? I am a mother on a mission and I truly care about what we should be doing for the future of our children. Certainly in these trying economic times, I’m not trying con anyone out of their hard earned money. I’m only interested in offering the best looking, one-of-a-kind, durable clothing for little girls that I could come up with. I hope to create a better life for myself and my little one, and I sincerely hope that Flowersack will help you have that too. I am proud to say all dresses are handmade in the UK. If you like the range and the unique dresses you wouldn’t find anywhere else - please tell a friend! |
